STATION DESCRIPTION
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 (JCM)
THE STATION IS ABOUT 6 MILES SOUTH AND 1/2 MILE WEST OF
YELLVILLE. IT IS A FOUR LEGGED WOOD STRUCTURE ABOUT 120 FEET
HIGH SUPPORTING AN OBSERVATION CABIN.
A TRAVERSE CONNECTION WAS MADE FROM THE DETERMINED CENTER OF THE
BASE OF THE LOOKOUT TOWER TO TRIANGULATION STATION FRECK AND
THE DISTANCE WAS FOUND TO BE 48.22 FEET AND 14.699 METERS.
