STATION DESCRIPTION
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1934 (CAS)
THIS STATION IS THE CENTER OF THE BAGLEY FIRE LOOKOUT TOWER
OF THE WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION. IT IS A STANDARD
SQUARE SKELETON STEEL TOWER WITH AN ENCLOSED CABIN ON TOP.
IT IS 73 FEET HIGH AND WAS ERECTED IN 1932.
THE TOWER IS ABOUT 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MOUNTAIN AND ABOUT
14-1/2 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF POUND, IN THE SE 1/4 NW 1/4
OF SEC. 17, T. 30 N., R. 18 E., ON THE HIGHEST POINT OF THE
HILL.
